Salsa Brava is an 8 piece latin-salsa-dance band formed by Spanish singer Monica Vasquez. With Monica are two Cuban masters of salsa on piano and percussion, accompanied by top class Irish musicians playing trumpets, trombone, congas and bass. The band play a pulsating and passionate set, with a mix of original and classic latin songs arranged by Cuban composer Danilo Karell (piano).
This band are very active all over Ireland with regular concerts in the Gaiety (Dublin) and the Empire (Belfast). They have appeared on TV shows for RTE, BBC, UTV and TVG (Spanish) and always have audiences dancing from first note to last.
